Baby Gift Guide

'Tis the season to buy your child cute things YOU love because they are too young to have an opinion. 😂 But for real guys, I secretly love that P has no preference yet. Cue mama going ham with online shopping.

Not only have I snagged some extra adorable items this Christmas, but almost all the gifts for Penelope are from small businesses run by hard working mamas. Win - win.

First up is this hand made sign from Wacker Ranch Designs on Etsy. I CANNOT wait to get this new calligraphy up in Penelope's nursery! I have the perfect spot for it just by the bookshelves. Leslie at Wacker Ranch is amazing and has some awesome signage for your home. She also is friendly, takes custom orders, and is raising 2 awesome kids.

Can I get a show of hands of who hates trying to lug in baby's car seat and get it in the cart? I have heard amazing things about these Binxy Baby shopping cart hammocks and can't wait to try ours out! I love the floral pattern and these suckers hold up to 50lbs of sweet chunk. I'll be instagramming this plenty, I have a feeling. A little pricey, but worth it for the peace of mind and extra cart space (hello, Target).

I picked up this little stocking for $4 at Target for Miss P and love it so much. It fits with our handmade stockings from my Aunt really well, but I hope to commission Auntie to make her a matching one next Christmas (I'm coming for you, Aunt Diane).

We have a major teether on our hands right now, so I am always looking for fashionable ways to catch the drool. This Harbor Scarf Bib from the Wild + Blissful Collection, another mama owned small business that I love! You see a trend here... I love supporting mamas and their side hustles.

This sweet little "Louise" floral top knot is so easy to slip on my babe's head and essential to avoiding her scratching fits. Penny Lou has eczema and her scalp bothers her so so much, especially while little cuts from her tiny fingers are healing. This little turban by Ella Bo Bella's Boutique is breathable, soft, and super stylish. I can't think of a better way to keep little lady from totally shredding up her poor little head and SURPRISE - the shop is owned and run by a hard working mama.

Last, but most certainly not least, our new ring sling! This baby is hand made with love by a mama of 2 boys with her own business, Buccio Baby. Nicole is such a sweetie and her products are made with such carefully chosen materials. You have probably seen Penelope with her yellow floral lovey on my instagram - we LOVE Buccio Baby in this house.

No gifting can be complete for littles without a good book, so I took the advice of sweet twin mama Megan Beddes (trust me, you want to follow her insta HERE) and picked up a book illustrated by the great Teagan White.

And that's what miss P will have for her first Christmas! What are all you mamas out there planning for your little one's holiday? How about all those Aunties and Uncles out there? I'd love to hear your ideas!
