DIY Skin Toner

Happy Spring, lovelies!

Life has been full of business and a few family sicknesses that got a little scary, so unless you follow my Instagram (which you totally should), I have been completely off the grid.

Today, I bring to you, the recipe for skin toner that has made my face glow.
This was one of those DIY recipes I kept seeing and not really believing, but after trying it out I don't think I'll ever stop using it. All you need is cold water and organic apple cider vinegar. If you can get some that says "with the mother" on it, even better. I used Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, but it really doesn't matter the brand so long as it's organic.

Instructions: using a sealable container, (I used a Ball jar) fill the container half full of water and half full of apple cider vinegar. Place in your refrigerator. That is literally the entire recipe, guys!
This is super simple and has really brightened up my skin. I just apply this every morning and night with just a little bit of the toner on a cotton ball and rub it all over my face. If you are a little sensitive to the smell of vinegar, this may not be for you.

The only thing I would say to watch out for is the breakouts when you first start using it.
If you have a large event coming up around the corner, this is not the ideal time to begin this regimen. The first week I used the toner, it brought out all my impurities and I had a nasty breakout on my forehead for a bit. After I stuck it out for a week, I haven't had a breakout since! I believe this week will mark the 1 month anniversary of my using the vinegar toner.

Let me know if you try this and have similar results! Remember that all skin is different and this may not work as well or may work even better for you! Your face may smell like feet for an hour or two, but it's totally worth it in the long run. Good thing my husband REALLY loves me.
