Simple Block Letter & Clip Board

4:42:00 AM

Good Morning!

I thought today I would roll 2 office DIY's into one since they are SUPER simple.
Turns out I'm a sucker for the Target dollar bin, which is where I got this cute little clipboard and the block letter "M" is from Michael's. I think I spent about $4 total on the two of them!

Since they are a little blah on their own, I wanted to spruce them up for my office makeover.
You will want to gather up the following things for this DIY:

Clipboard
Block Letter
Craft Paper (any you like!)
Acrylic Paint
Mod Podge
Paint Brush
Scissors
Pencil

I started out with the block "M"

The first thing you want to do is to trace your letter onto the paper. After that, you cut out the letter with your scissors (double check when you finish that the cut paper fits over your letter).

Lastly, you want to mod lodge the letter and stick the paper over top.

And there you have it! A pretty block letter with a little DIY touch.
Now, for the most simple of projects, painting your clip board. Gather up your clip board and paint.

... and paint it. That's it! Be careful to go around the clips - you could put masking tape on them to keep them from getting painted if you don't trust yourself (I should have taken this tip).

Ta-da! Excuse my dirty carpet. It really needed a vacuuming.

This all took about 15 minutes to do. It's such a simple thing that really brings the office collage together! I strongly encourage you to use any colors and patterns that would best fit your space. Maybe stripes or polka dots... maybe paint them both gold!

Let me know if you incorporate any of these office DIY's into your weekend! I want to see everyone else's ideas in action. Have a great Thursday!
